Vehicle Cell Phone Jammer Type II

 



This vehicle based cell phone jammer is powered by your car's cigarette lighter.
The unit will jam GPRS / GSM / DCS / CDMA / PDC / TDMA / PHS / PCS / IDEN / W-CDMA / UMTS / 3G signals up to 50 meters.

An excellent cell phone jamming option for those who wish to disable potential dangerous drivers around them, and create a safe zone around their vehicle.

This product was designed for prison vehicles, transport vehicles, buses, and trains where cell phone usage is not permitted.  It will however, under average to best conditions, block up to several car lengths away.  If you require non-stop long distance jamming around your vehicle, we recommend a high power unit such as the High Power Vehicle Cell Phone Jammer.

 

We also recommend using the 3M cable set with external antenna mounts for better coverage.

    THE ONLY TIME IT DOES'T WORK WELL WHEN YOUR NEAR
    CELL TOWER.

    Received the unit yesterday (14 days from order to receipt) and took it out to test the range. The unit came with no directions but is fairly easy to operate. I plugged it into my car's lighter and put the unit on my dash board. In the 'local' mode it is effective to about 3 meters. In 'remote' mode it is effective to about 15-17 meters. I expected better given that the description says out to 50 meters.

    I have only been using the Jammer Type II for several days, and it does work. The range is at least several car lengths. I have left it on in my car and regained my own cell phone signal only when I entered the building. It is comical to watch people struggle with their cell phone at a traffic light or in the line for banking and the like. It does transmit a jamming signal as my wife can tell when I come in the driveway if she is watching TV (it is an old TV). I do not regret my purchase.

    This unit puts those yapping, swerving, no attention paying text message sending dangers out of business. I will be putting one in my daughter's car as well.
